Job summary

The Arc of Palm Beach County is hiring a Retail & Delivery Specialist for full-time work during the holiday season in West Palm Beach, FL. Earn up to $19.00 per hour while helping individuals with disabilities through donation processing, pickup, and sales activities in a busy retail environment.

You will operate a 26-foot box truck, assist customers, and maintain merchandise displays, aiming to turn donated items into opportunities. Benefits include health coverage and retirement planning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate a 26-foot box truck.
• Retail, warehouse, logistics, delivery, moving, or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience operating a POS system/cash register preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 75+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to pass background screenings and maintain a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck for scheduled donation pickups and deliveries.
• Serve as a friendly, professional ambassador of The Arc during pickups.
• Load, unload, and transport donated items.
• Receive, sort, stock, and organize donations.
• Create attractive merchandise displays to maximize sales.
• Test donated electronics and appliances before sale.
• Schedule and coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to shoppers, donors, volunteers, and customers.
• Operate the cash register and process transactions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
