Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and scan barcodes using a mobile app. Expect 5–11 hours per week per store, with occasional 1–2 extra hours for special projects, and frequent travel across assigned locations.

The role includes data collection to improve retailer performance, with opportunities to work across grocery, convenience, drug, and mass merchandise outlets. Flexibility and reliability are key.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to reach 6 feet in the air and perform repetitive movements.
• Must have reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store barcode scans using a mobile app at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain data quality for clients.
• Work across store types (grocery, convenience, drug, etc.) with various clients.
• Complete Displays Scanning and contribute to Custom Projects as required.
