Job Summary

As a PetSmart Experience Lead (Retail Customer Service Supervisor), you will provide exceptional pet parent service, uphold company values, and drive customer experience strategies through loyalty, promotions, and interaction. You will oversee safety, store cleanliness, merchandising, and associate engagement.

Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and supporting associates through training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Supporting store operations and acting as the Leader on Duty when needed.
  • Handling customer concerns and promoting store events and initiatives.
  • Ensuring store standards, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Assisting with inventory counts and online order pickups.
  • Operating POS systems and handling transactions accurately.
  • Maintaining a safe environment for pets, associates, and customers.
  • Supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Standing, walking, climbing, and manual handling up to 50 pounds regularly, more with team lifts.
  • Exposure to pet hair, live animals, and moderate noise levels.
