Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong product knowledge and ability to train other team members.
• Previous training or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Company work history and attendance, safety, performance matter for consideration.
• Proficiency in basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must read, write and speak in English.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Spanish or other languages a plus.
• Must be dependable and flexible.
• Ability to travel to multiple work locations.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork and problem-solving.
• Must adhere to uniform dress code.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store according to procedures.
• Direct and monitor day-to-day activities of full-time/part-time staff.
• Communicate with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Resolve customer complaints including exchanges and refunds.
• Handle cash: counting, till prep, cash drops, cash pickups, tills verification, gift cards sales/returns.
• Complete electronic store reports and bag/video checks.
• Perform cashier duties when needed.
• Escalate employee issues to Store Manager or District Manager.
• Assist vendors with deliveries and stocking in all departments.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and store sanitation.
• Support media/regulatory interactions and direct inquiries to Store Manager.
• Participate in interview panels but no hiring authority.
• Other duties including working in other departments as assigned.
