Job summary

Family Dollar in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers and manage transactions at the register while keeping a friendly, secure store environment.

Responsibilities include stocking, unloading trucks, cleaning, and restocking areas. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; you must lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail or service roles is highly preferred.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and follow operational instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep store stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Maintain clean and presentable store and restrooms
• Other duties as assigned
