Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores seeks a Customer Service Associate to join our Hanson, KY team and provide an excellent shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help with stocking and merchandising.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and a friendly, professional demeanor. Part-time position with daily store duties and occasional unloading tasks may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe and respectful environment with customers, associates and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
