Job summary

Family Dollar in Huntington, WV is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, and help maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

The role requires strong customer service, good organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time position with responsibilities across daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.

• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain cleanliness, restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash, ensure neat areas
• Other duties as assigned
