Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience. This is a part-time, on-site role in Bennettsville, SC, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock bathrooms, floors and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
