Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a store associate in Asheville, NC. You will help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

Responsibilities include truck unload, stocking, and maintaining shelves, plus engagement with Rewards and Private Label programs. Cross-training in Custom Framing sales and production is a plus and you’ll support store recovery and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Experience with cash handling and checkout procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Assist with omni-channel processes, including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock conditions, and merchandise returns.
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs.
