Job summary

Family Dollar in Woodsfield, OH is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, operate the cash register, and keep the store well stocked. You will handle unloading trucks, restocking, and maintaining a clean, safe shopping environment.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred), prior customer service experience, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
