Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Bishopville, SC is seeking a part-time cashier to assist customers, process transactions, and keep the store well-stocked and clean. You will help unload trucks, stock shelves, and ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment for customers and team members.

We value reliable individuals with prior customer service experience and ability to lift 30–50 lbs, follow instructions, and communicate clearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store customer service experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Ensure store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
