Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Aynor, SC store. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain a well-stocked, clean store environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred) and prior customer service experience in retail or related fields. You will lift up to 50 lbs and engage with customers and team members in a friendly, professional manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle repeated movements.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, bathrooms stocked, and floors swept and mopped.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
