Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

You will greet guests, answer questions, assist with recommendations, and maintain a safe, friendly environment while working with teammates.

The position involves light lifting, repetitive tasks, and following store procedures to protect assets and deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at a cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks; stock replenishment according to productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders.
