Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring cashiers to work in a fast-paced environment, providing fast, friendly, and accurate service while keeping the store clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answering questions.
• Balance cash register transactions and offer additional sales opportunities while following laws.
• Use various methods to ensure food safety for fresh foods and deli products.
• Clean working areas, sales floor, restrooms, pumps and complete trash runs.
• Cross-train in other departments and assist in leadership roles when needed.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds; work in varying temperatures.

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
