Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking friendly cashiers in Brighton, Colorado. You will deliver fast, accurate service to customers in a busy convenience environment and may perform various duties as needed.

No experience? No problem—on-the-job training is provided. The role emphasizes teamwork, cash handling, food safety, cleaning duties, and potential cross-training across departments.

Qualifications

• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to balance a cash register and assist customers.
• Willingness to cross-train in other store departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with products and services.
• Balance cash register and complete transactions.
• Ensure proper food safety for fresh food and deli items.
• Clean your work area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps and related spaces.
• Potential cross-training in Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds; work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
