Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring for a cashier role in a fast-paced environment. You will serve customers quickly and accurately, handle cash transactions, and assist with various duties across departments to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including helping customers find items and answer questions.
• Balancing a cash register by completing transactions and offering additional sales while following laws.
• Using various methods and tech to ensure proper food safety for fresh food and deli items.
• Cleaning own area, sales floor, restrooms, pumps, and taking out trash.
• Cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, or Maintenance.
• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service for customers.
• Handle cash register operations and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across work areas and equipment.
• Assist with cross-trained duties in related departments.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, helping customers find items, answering questions about products and services, and addressing customer needs.
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws.
• Use a variety of methods and technology to ensure proper food safety conditions of our fresh food and deli products.
• Responsibility for cleaning your direct working area, the sales floor, restrooms, showers, gas/diesel pumps, and completing trash runs.
• Additional duties could include cross training in other departments such as Restaurant Services, Fresh Kitchen, Facility Maintenance, and leadership roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
