Job summary

Dollar Tree in Jasper, Alabama is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to assist customers, handle transactions, and keep the store stocked and clean. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, replenishing stock, maintaining cleanliness, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and replenish merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
• Keep the store clean, restrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, trash taken out, and areas neat and presentable.
