Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II in Baton Rouge, LA. You will assist with daily store operations, merchandise, and support customers, with cross-training to operate the cash register and front-end duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock as needed.
• Assist customers and support cash register operations.
• Unload trucks and process freight safely.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Protect cash and company assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
