Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Baton Rouge is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to handle cash register duties and front-end tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes a clean, welcoming environment and strong customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking/standing.
• Strong customer service, communication, and integrity are required.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock store as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas including bathrooms and floors.
• Provide a positive, safe environment and friendly interactions.
• Manage sales transactions on the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
