Job summary

Family Dollar in Pemberton, NJ is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store clean and stocked.

Part-time position with duties including merchandise handling, unloading trucks, and maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff. Prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, grocery or drug store env. preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cashier.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and restocking.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
