Job summary

Dollar Tree in North Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and safe.

The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, stocking merchandise, and maintaining cleanliness across the store while interacting professionally with customers and team members. Part-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash.
