Family Dollar in Florida is seeking a Customer Service Associate to assist customers with questions and recommendations, and to handle transactions at the register while keeping the store clean and stocked. You will help customers and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor.

This part-time role asks for a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior retail or customer service experience. You may lift up to 50 lbs, unload trucks, and support merchandising and safety standards daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and engage in frequent walking, standing, stooping, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and merchandise recovered.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
