Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team in Florida. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean while ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, restocking, and maintaining a safe, friendly environment. Part-time positions may require lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand/walk frequently.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
