Family Dollar seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience in our Florida location. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep shelves stocked and merchandise orderly.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred, and part-time schedules may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and tolerate frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
