Job summary

Family Dollar in Lansford, PA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and help keep the store clean and safe.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or equivalent), retail experience preferred, and strong communication and teamwork skills. This is a part-time role with opportunities to grow within our store network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
