Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Dayton, OH is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver great shopping experiences. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, keep the store clean and stocked, and unload shipments while maintaining a safe environment.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, plus the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and meet typical retail demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register and protect assets.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock merchandise, unload trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
