Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC in New Lexington, OH is seeking a part-time store associate to assist customers, operate the cash register, and maintain store presentation.

You will help unload trucks, restock merchandise, and ensure a safe, friendly shopping environment while delivering excellent service. Part-time role with posted pay and opportunities to grow within the store network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned
