Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in California to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help with stocking and merchandising to keep the store efficient and inviting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar setting preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Capable of lifting 30–50 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and general presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
