Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires strong customer service abilities, good organizational skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs as part of daily duties. This position is typically part-time and on-site at Perry, FL stores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with staff and customers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
