Position Summary

The Store Consultant consistently delivers a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest solutions, and provide excellent service. They are knowledgeable in print, signs & graphics, and shipping services, responsible for taking orders, managing store activities, providing product information, and recommending FedEx Office services. Responsibilities include operating equipment, managing projects, stocking supplies, and completing tasks efficiently.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow supervisor instructions and assist team members.
  • Assist in training new team members.
Service
  • Demonstrate consultative behaviors to understand customer needs.
  • Recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, resolving issues promptly.
  • Take complex orders, provide accurate pricing, and prepare shipments.
  • Operate printing and related equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment.
Profit
  • Handle customer data confidentially and process transactions accurately.
  • Stock and maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Display products properly and prevent errors and waste.
  • Complete financial paperwork and assist with reports.
  • Follow all operational, safety, and HR policies.
Self-Management
  • Perform multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Seek opportunities to improve skills.
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adhere to company standards and policies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6+ months of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Meet all employment qualifications at hire.
Essential Functions
  • Stand during shifts, lift up to 55 pounds, and perform physical activities.
  • Communicate effectively and work under pressure.
  • Maintain attention and work with minimal supervision.
