POSITION SUMMARY:

The Store Consultant delivers a positive customer experience by utilizing consultative skills to anticipate needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. This team member is knowledgeable in print, signs & graphics, and shipping, and is responsible for taking orders, coordinating store activities, providing pricing and product information, and recommending FedEx Office products and services. They operate various equipment, manage projects, stock materials, and complete tasks based on priority.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

People:

• Follow supervisor instructions and assist team members in store functions.
• Assist in training new team members.

Service:

• Demonstrate consultative behaviors to understand customer needs.
• Provide expertise in printing, signs & graphics, and shipping, recommending suitable products and services.
• Ensure outstanding customer service by resolving issues quickly and effectively.
• Take complex orders, provide accurate pricing, and prepare items for shipping.
• Operate printing and related equipment using customer media.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.

Profit:

• Handle customer data confidentially and process transactions accurately.
• Stock and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Display products and signage properly, prevent errors and waste, and complete financial paperwork.
• Adhere to operational, safety, legal, HR, and security policies.

Self-Management:

• Perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Seek opportunities for skill development.
• Operate independently and adhere to store standards.
• Perform other duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of specialized experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Stand during entire shift.
• Lift up to 55 pounds.
• Perform bending and twisting activities.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
