Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to join our store team. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, safe environment. Positive interactions with customers and teammates are essential.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, replenishing stock, and following store policies to protect assets and ensure a pleasant shopping experience for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent standing/walking is required
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment
• Other duties as assigned
