POSITION SUMMARY:

The Store Consultant consistently delivers a positive customer experience to all customers, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. This team member is knowledgeable in all areas of the Store’s business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping. Responsibilities include taking orders, coordinating activities, providing pricing and product information, and recommending appropriate FedEx Office products and services. The Store Consultant operates and maintains equipment, manages the production queue, handles complex projects, stocks supplies, and completes tasks based on priority.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow instructions from supervisors and assist team members in store functions
• Assist in training store team members

Service

• Demonstrate consultative behaviors to understand each customer’s needs
• Provide expertise in printing, signs & graphics, and shipping; recommend suitable products and services
• Deliver outstanding customer service by anticipating needs and offering solutions
• Resolve customer issues promptly and satisfactorily
• Handle complex orders, providing accurate pricing
• Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping
• Set up and operate printing and related equipment
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment

Profit

• Handle customer data confidentially and manage documents and packages carefully
• Process transactions using POS, handling cash and making change
• Maintain and repair printing and shipping equipment
• Display retail merchandise and signage properly
• Prevent errors and waste proactively
• Complete financial paperwork and assist with reporting

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of specialized experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Meet all employment qualifications at hiring

• Perform bending and twisting activities
