Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Consultant is knowledgeable in all areas of the store's business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping. They deliver a positive customer experience by taking orders, coordinating store activities, providing pricing information, recommending products and services, producing complex orders, operating advanced equipment, and managing production processes. They use consultative skills to anticipate needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. With leadership guidance, they may direct colleagues and resolve escalated customer issues.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide friendly, polite,, and expert customer service
  • Manage production flow to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Take customer orders, provide pricing, perform consultative selling, and log jobs
  • Lead digital imaging and production tasks, including finishing services
  • Set up complex orders and multitask effectively
  • Maintain quality during and after production
  • Communicate among shifts and coordinate pick-up/delivery
  • Provide leadership and training to team members
  • Operate POS terminals, handle transactions, and complete financial paperwork
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety policies
  • Coordinate shipping services, advise customers on shipping options, and maintain inventory
  • Perform other duties as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of specialized experience
  • Excellent communication skills

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Stand throughout the shift
  • Lift up to 55 pounds
  • Perform bending/twisting activities
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain regular attendance and support business hours
