Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a store associate in New Jersey. You will merchandise, stock, ring up customers, and maintain a clean store environment. The role supports store leadership in achieving efficiency and loss-prevention goals.

Starting wage is $19.50 per hour with increases in years 2–5 reaching $21.50. Typical schedule averages 30+ hours per week with benefits typical of full-time ALDI roles. Prior retail experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock shelves to planograms.
• Cashier and process purchases using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning to maintain store standards.
• Assist management in achieving efficiency and loss goals.
• Open additional lanes during peak checkout times as needed.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
