Job summary

ALDI USA in New Jersey is hiring a full-time Store Associate to merchandise, stock shelves, cashier, and keep the store clean. You will help create a great shopping experience by teamwork and customer service.

The role requires 30+ hours weekly with a starting wage of $19.50 per hour and wage increases over five years. Includes comprehensive benefits for eligible employees and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment including cash registers and POS systems.
• Ability to follow ALDI operating policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to scan and process purchases and reports scanning concerns.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required for efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly per merchandising planograms to maximize sales.
• Completes curbside pickup orders accurately and delivers to customers’ vehicles from the staging area.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards; supports operational efficiency and loss goals.
• Complies with company policies and creates a safe working environment.
