Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Georgia LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer in Sandersville, GA. You will help customers, process transactions at the register, and keep the store clean and stocked.

The role requires strong customer service, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time hours are available, with responsibilities spanning stocking, unloading, and maintaining store safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
