Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, and help with stocking and merchandising to ensure store readiness.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or customer service experience. The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful store environment with professional interactions.
