Job summary

Walgreens is seeking team members to deliver a distinctive customer experience at the point of sale. You will assist customers, operate cash registers, and maintain clean, well-merchandised aisles while following company policies and protecting assets.

The role includes greeting customers, offering help proactively, processing payments, stocking shelves, and supporting store operations with photo services and web pick-up duties. Flexible scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.

Responsibilities

• Registers sales on assigned cash register and provides courteous checkout service.
• Recommends items for sale and trade-up/companion items to customers.
• Handles voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; takes inventory and prices merchandise as directed.
• Implements asset protection procedures to minimize loss.
• Ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcohol and tobacco).
• Constructs and maintains displays and completes resets as directed.
• Assists with product separation and stock rotation; restocks as needed.
• Has working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provides photo area services and web pick-up support.
• Maintains store appearance and complies with company policies.
• Completes special assignments as needed.
