Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and maintain store presentation and cleanliness.

You will protect cash assets, stock shelves, and unload shipments while ensuring a safe, friendly environment for customers and team members. The role emphasizes teamwork and responsive service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail or service industry experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong customer service, organization and communication skills.
• Problem solving and decision making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and replenish merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness, including restrooms, floors, trash, and neatness of areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
