Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and help unload merchandise while keeping the store clean and safe.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Part-time positions are available at Crosbyton, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of standing, walking and repetitive tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
