Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to be the frontline contact for customers in our store. You will help customers locate and purchase merchandise, operate the cash register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and organized to maximize sales and protect assets.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, greet customers, process transactions, and assist with merchandising displays. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Understanding of safety practices and planogram following abilities.
• Ability to read and follow merchandise presentation guides.
• Basic cash handling and math skills.

Responsibilities
