Job summary

Family Dollar in Ashton, Idaho seeks a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, keep the store stocked, and help with unloading trucks while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform manual tasks as needed.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with replenishment and unloading trucks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
