HomeGoods in Pittsburgh is seeking a Store Associate to promote a highly-satisfied customer experience, drive loyalty, and support frontline execution. You will train and mentor Associates on policies, support cashier performance, and help ensure accuracy of cash handling and paperwork.

The role requires flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, ability to lift heavy merchandise, teamwork, and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to train and provide direction to others.
• Experience in retail/supervisory roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a “Highly Satisfied” customer experience and drives loyalty.
• Addresses customer concerns promptly and communicates feedback to team.
• Trains and mentors Associates on policies, procedures, and cashier performance.
• Maintains cash controls and proper handling of money and paperwork.
• Coordinates breaks and assigns registers for optimal frontline coverage.
• Maintains store cleanliness, merchandising standards, and loss prevention policies.
• Adheres to labor laws, safety, and company directives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
