Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Yakima, WA to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, maintain store cleanliness, stock replenishment, and ensure a safe, respectful environment.

Flexibility to perform unloading, stocking, and basic custodial tasks is required. Part-time hours and local duties may apply, with growth opportunities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including restrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
