Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Camas, WA is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions at the register, and help with stocking and merchandise recovery to keep the store inviting.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills, plus the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work in a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time hours and a team-oriented atmosphere are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and keeping areas neat.
• Other duties as assigned*.
