Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC in Ravenel, SC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to assist customers, process sales, keep the store stocked, and deliver a friendly shopping experience.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, replenishing stock, maintaining clean bathrooms and floors, and upholding safety and professional conduct with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and bending.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
