Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Middleton store. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help keep shelves stocked and the store clean. You will also unload merchandise and support everyday store operations with a friendly, customer-first approach.

The role requires good communication, basic physical stamina, and the ability to follow instructions. Part-time hours are available in a fast-paced retail environment in Middleton, TN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, groceries or drug stores is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash safety and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
