Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Canton, MS to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, keep the store clean and stocked, and ensure safety.

You will help unload merchandise and participate in restocking while maintaining professional interactions with customers and staff. The role requires ability to lift 30–50 lbs, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operating documents.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
