Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, stock replenishment, unloading merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail or service industries preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned
